Consider an important conversation was mistakenly deleted. And you don’t have MS Teams backup. You have a tough road ahead.

Deleted MS Teams messages do not go to the Recycle Bin.
However, MS Teams messages are archived in the Compliance Center. If you haven’t enabled Compliance, it’s the end of the road, or rather the message.
If Compliance is enabled, go to Microsoft’s Compliance Center and use the Content Search.
Then comes the hassle of the filter criteria – date, type, sender, recipient, location, etc.

After you finally narrow the criteria to find the message, you then have to work on exporting the result.
Done? Nope. You then have to install Microsoft Office 365’s Export Tool to export the file as a .pst.

Then use Outlook’s export/import tool to import the PST file. Phew!
